To supply, install, programming an IP base PABX system ready type c/w built-in UPS for back-up upon

failure up to 4 hours, voltage stabilizer, over voltage surge arrestor, with expandable to 500 ports

extension and all necessary accessories, as per drawing and specification.

HANDLING AND STORAGE OF MATERIALS

Handling:

All materials received at site shall be checked according to the Delivery Order (D.O) and Purchase Order to ensure the materials received are in conformance.

Storage:

Deliver the products to the protected area and stack / arrange the materials in a flat and dry surface place.

WORK METHODOLOGY PROCEDURES

General construction and installation of wireless telephone system.

Prepare and submit to Consultant the presentation and approved by Consultant.

Pre-requirement of installation

M&E installation (such as of cable and trunking) being completed and Main Contractor is to ensure that the

TESTING PROCEDURES
| ||||||||
Testing , commissioning and configuration the following systems and guarantee full functionality of the
| |||||||||
system during defect and liability period as per scope of works & according to the requirements
| |||||||||
and specifications of ECER. (Contractor need to carry out pre-T&C for all the systems and submit the
| |||||||||
test results to ECER before T&C with ECER.
| |||||||||
· Check the system batteries and connection of cables.
· Check the polarity of batteries cables and ensure color code for positive and negative.
· Check the installation between the batteries back up and PABX.
· Measure the line voltage to the charger and ensure that the voltage is 220v with maximum of 5% up or down.
· Ensure the approval and acceptance of the telephone numbering plan by the Consultant.
· Upon completion of the above the PABX agent will start up the PABX and start the start up check of all the boards and hardware.
· Programming of the PABX will start according to the approved numbering plan, telephone numbers not to be changed to avoid destroying the PABX program.

SAFETY FEATURES
| ||||||||
All operation during this work will be done in an efficient and safe manner and in accordance to the Safety
| |||||||||
procedures. However, there are issues concerning safety for this work that are to be observed base on the
| |||||||||
results of the audit, relevant safety measures will be proposed and implemented.

a.

Carry out a Hazard Identification Audit (HIA) before start of work each day and before the start of new task.
| ||||||||
b.
|
The material shall be in good condition, clean and free from defect and crack during the installation.
| ||||||||
c.
|
All material shall be transported by lorry to the site. Upon arrival, the materials shall be unloaded at our
| ||||||||
storage yard, either manually or by machinery. All material shall be check and inspected by the Supervisor
| |||||||||
and Consultant. The materials are carefully stacked on timber and cover with non-staining plastic sheet.
